acupuncture-for-back-painTraditional acupuncture is performed using very fine needles. It’s used to treat a wide variety of ailments and conditions. Its goal is to re-establish balance and restore better levels of health. Acupuncture can help treat: anxiety, depression, stress, insomnia, some upper respiratory conditions, lower back pain, arthritis, MS, cataracts, dental pain, neck pain, labor pain, and more!

benefits-of-cuppingFire cupping is the practice of putting heated glass cups on the skin for a few minutes to generate suction. It increases blood flow and the rate of healing. It is often used to treat plantar fasciitis, back, hip and IT band problems, pain in shoulders, upper back and neck pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and respiratory problems related to the common cold.

acupressure-herbal-teaThe AIAM Herbal Medicine Clinic dispenses herbs in a concentrated granule form. The herbs are mixed with hot water and drunk as a tea, usually twice a day. Our herbs have been tested to ensure that they are of the highest quality, pesticide free, and safe for human consumption. Herbal therapy can be used to treat a range of conditions such as: insomnia, stress, anxiety, depression, digestive problems, skin issues, women’s health issues, men’s health issues, migraines, long COVID symptoms, and the common cold, just to name a few!

Gua Sha is the method of using a smooth-edged tool to stroke your skin while pressing on it. This can raise small, red, rash-like dots on the skin called petechiae. It can reduce inflammation which is commonly seen in chronic pain or treat internal problems, such as respiratory infection.

how-long-does-acupuncture-take-to-workCosmetic Acupuncture is a non-surgical method of reducing signs of the aging process, resulting in increased elasticity, firmness, reduced fine lines, a smoother complexion and overall texture. Cosmetic acupuncture can influence the long-term health of the skin rather than just the superficial signs of aging.
