If you’re a veteran, service member or military spouse or dependent, AIAM welcomes you! We work hard to serve veterans and military families. As part of our commitment to veterans, we adhere to the Principles of Excellence, which means:

  1. AIAM provides students with a personalized form covering the total cost of an education program, and AIAM provides educational plans for all military and Veteran education beneficiaries (Payment Summary)
  2. AIAM never engages in fraudulent and aggressive recruiting techniques and misrepresentations
  3. AIAM works to accommodate service members and reservists absent due to service requirements
  4. AIAM has a designated point of contact to provide academic and financial advice – this is your School Certifying Official
  5. AIAM ensures accreditation of all new programs prior to enrolling students
  6. AIAM’s institutional refund policies are aligned with those under Title IV, which governs the administration of federal student financial aid programs

Veterans Benefits:

The Post 9/11 GI Bill® provides military service members with significant educational benefits. If you’ve served on active duty for at least 90 days after September 10, 2001, or are still on active duty or have been honorably discharged – or discharged with a service-connected disability – you could be eligible for benefits.

You can receive up to three years of education benefits, which can be spread over 15 years after your release from active duty. This GI Bill® for veterans can also include payments for housing and books and supplies. Other eligible benefit programs include but are not limited to:

Veterans Benefits and Transition Act of 2018:

As pursuant to the Veterans Benefits and Transition Act of 2018, a Covered Individual (defined as any individual who is entitled to education assistance under Chapter 31, Vocational Rehabilitation, or Chapter 33/Post-9/11 GI Bill® benefits) will be permitted to attend or participate in the course of education during the period beginning on the date on which the individual provides to the educational institution a certificate of eligibility for entitlement to educational assistance. AIAM will not impose any penalty, including the assessment of late fees, the denial of access to classes, libraries or other institutional facilities, or require a Chapter 31 or Chapter 33 recipient to borrow additional funds to cover the individual’s inability to meet his or her financial obligations to the institution due to the delayed disbursement of a payment by the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Education Benefits:

If you believe that you are eligible for education benefits offered by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), please apply online or call 1-888-GIBILL.
